All of the 20 B&W photos of buses and trolley buses seen here were taken in central Derby between 17:00 and 18:30 approx on Sunday 16th July 1967.
These photos were taken 37 years ago by David and have only just been seen for the first time!
In the 1960s David had very little pocket money and his priority was to travel and photograph as many rare buses and steam trains as possible. So he spent his money on bus and train fares, black & white film (mainly, very few colour slide films), and the developing cost of the film. He reasoned that later, when he had a real income, he would be able to afford to get them printed! He has had a real income since 1970, but it has still taken until now to get a round tuit!

I would like to thank David for allowing us to see this unique photo collection of public transport in Derby in the late 60's.
