Description : The Spot Date photo taken : 15th June 2001 Other Information : This photo was taken at the Spot at the top of St Peter street looking down towards the town centre. This new area was created in 1993 up until then it had been public toilets with glass ceilings ! This was the site of a statue of Queen Victoria from 1906 to 1928, In 1928 it was moved to its current location in the DRI grounds. |
